Zadar

Zadar is an ancient city, built in the center of the Croatian Adriatic, full of historical and cultural sights. Three thousand years old, a city with a long, turbulent and dynamic history, often demolished, looted, destroyed, each time from the ruins emerged stronger, more beautiful and richer.

Today, the city of Zadar is a preserved monument of different historical times and cultures, which set the boundaries and visible contours of its urban appearance, and as during the past centuries of turbulent history, it is still preserved by its four patron saints - St. Grisogone, Sv. Simon, St. Anastasia and St. Zoilo.

Islands

The Zadar archipelago consists of about 300 islands along the Zadar coast, part of the Adriatic Sea in Croatia. In the north, it borders with Kvarnerić, and in the south with the islands of central Dalmatia.

The largest and most inhabited islands of the archipelago are Dugi otok, Ugljan, and Pag, but most of the islands in the archipelago are uninhabited, so it is difficult to reach them. A part of the Kornati enters into the framework of the Zadar archipelago.
